Vimbai Takawira is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) professional with a background in supporting the development and execution of M and E systems in the information and media sector.
She possesses sound knowledge of the Integrated Results Based Management System (IRBM) and is skilled in strategic planning, programme monitoring and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and management including the use of the Whole of Government Performance Management System (WGPMS).
Vimbai joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) in 2020 as an Information/M and E Officer. She was later appointed as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in 2023.
Vimbai holds a Master of Social Science in Monitoring and Evaluation (2021) and a Bachelor of Social Science in Media and Society Studies. She is also a member of the Zimbabwe Evaluation Society.
