Engineer Chakanyuka joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe as an Engineer in June 2004. He rose through the ranks to the position of Technical Director and the acting CEO.
Before joining the Authority, he worked for Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings as a Maintenance Engineer.
Engineer Chakanyuka actively participates in the work of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) through its study groups and World Radio Communication Conferences including Regional Planning Conferences on digital satellite and terrestrial broadcasting.
