Biography

Mr. L Ncube is a seasoned and qualified finance professional possessing skills in various areas of expertise gained through professional training and over 30 years of practical experience in the Accounting, Finance and Administration fields from the public sector entities and Central Government. He has wealth of experience in public sector financial management and accounting, financial reporting and governance and has over 15 years of experience in senior management positions. Mr. Ncube joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe on the 1st of December 2023 as Finance and Administration Director, also in charge the human resource's function. Mr. Ncube's career path started in 1993 as an Accounting Assistant in the Civil Service and rose through the ranks to the position of Chief Accountant under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development. He also served as Finance Manager and Acting Finance Director for the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe and Head of Finance for Management Training Bureau (MTB) and the Research Council of Zimbabwe respectively. Mr. Ncube is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) in Zimbabwe and is a holder of Master of Commerce in Accounting Degree, Executive Masters in Business Administration Degree, Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Degree (NUST) and a Higher National Diploma in Accounting. He has attended several training programmes in accounting and financial management and reporting. He is also trained in PRINCE 2 project management.
